AWS organisations, landing zones and identity, done once and done well: Control Tower, single sign-on with Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID, guardrails, budgets and audit logging. A platform your team inherits with a runbook — not a mystery.
The software you run
Web platforms, APIs, data pipelines and integrations — from prototype to production. Python, TypeScript, .NET and Go; serverless on AWS when it fits, boring technology when it doesn't. Tested, observable and built to be maintained by someone other than us.
The automation you control
LLM-powered workflows and agent tooling that earn their keep: document processing, internal copilots, data enrichment. Measured against real outcomes, with evaluation, guardrails and cost controls from day one — not bolted on after the demo.

Every resource comes from a repository you own. Nothing lives only in a console, and nothing depends on remembering what someone clicked.
Identity, MFA, least privilege and guardrails go in first — not as a phase after launch. We build on the same foundations we recommend.
Every engagement leaves behind documentation your team can operate from — the decisions, the watch items, and the exact steps to change things safely.
You work directly with the engineer doing the work. No hand-offs, no layers, no juniors learning on your budget.

Lyrebird Syntax Pty Ltd is a small software and cloud consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia, founded in 2026 by Manoj Jacob.
We take on a few engagements at a time — cloud foundations for growing teams, product and platform engineering, and AI automation that has to survive contact with production. Small enough to be direct; experienced enough to be trusted with the parts that can't fail.
The name? The lyrebird is an Australian songbird famous for reproducing any sound it hears with uncanny fidelity — it’s the bird in our mark. We aim for the same fidelity in our work — understanding your systems and your language before we build anything.
